 Live and work on board a seismic vessel (ECO’s Carolyn Chouest) for an extended period (four to five
weeks minimum) during all phases of ongoing survey in super deep water Gulf of Mexico.
 Upload seismic data from tapes into racable processing system.
 Use basic geophysical concepts and data manipulation skills to run initial level refinement, preprocessing and QA/QC on data for further downstream processing.
 QCs performed include: Frequency Maps, Near In-Line/Near Cross-Line, Drift Timing Analysis,
Positioning, Level Refinement, Shot Binning (Fold), Rotate QC and Noise Attenuation.
 Work directly with client representatives to answer any questions regarding initial processing and
deliverables.
 Maintain processing hardware on board (Panasas blades, racable processing servers, tape drives etc.)
including tear-down, installation, repair/replacement or hardware and shipping.
