Innovation In Mobile App Development Ecosystem Program
TCOE India with support of Venture Capitalists is accepting limited number of applicants to its
Innovation in Mobile App Development Ecosystem (I-MADE) program. The I-MADE program
substantially relieves the financial pressure from developing a mobile solution for students,
faculty, and staff. Successful Institution recipients will be able to provide their end user’s cutting
edge apps such Push Notification, News, Admissions, Directory, Important numbers,
Announcement, Date Sheet, Courses, and more. This program will cover software licensing,
hosting and support costs of the mobile app development platform and Hackathon for selected
participating institutes spread over 10 years.
The goal of the I-MADE program is to help Indian entrepreneurs build 1 million mobile app
start-ups which can eventually become Indian unicorns.
Major components of the program include:
Entrepreneurship Development: Mentoring entrepreneurs in areas including writing an app,
making business presentations to investors and developing viable business models
Hackathons: Hackathons to be organized across country leading to mega HackFest annually
and opportunity to visit Google & Microsoft HQs
Industry Connect: Interaction of entrepreneurs with industry professionals to enable real
time industry exposure and better problem solving capabilities
Investor Connect: Opportunity for entrepreneurs to interact with investors to accelerate
development of Indian start-up ecosystem through direct mentorship and raising of capital
Institution’s Deliverables:
 Apply for the I-MADE program
 Enter into agreement with I-MADE Program Platform
 Identify a Primary Point of Contact (PPOC) as a program Coordinator, i.e.
Professor/Associate Professor for I- MADE Program
 Coordinate with TCOE to implement institution app on App Store
 Engage students to create apps that would be valuable to their institution and other use
cases
 Provide Admin and logistics support for I-MADE program including Conduct of annual
Hackathons
 Provide funding to send winning Hackathon team to National Hackathon
Benefit to Institution from Mobile Solution:

a. Upgraded technology infrastructure to stay competitive
b. Enable your students to create apps, leading to more practical exposure and better
employability

Scope of Mobile App Solution:

I-MADE
Platform Through the I-MADE Platform, Institutions will be getting the
License

Program:
Allows you to make your own apps, manage or edit
and test those apps
Access to App Exchange: Share and access Apps with
other institutions

Professional
Services
Implementation of your institution’s mobile apps with custom
branding
III.
Hosting
The I-MADE Platform apps will be hosted on web funded by
the I-MADE Program:
IV.
Support
I-MADE Platform will provide Support for any technical issues
Entrepreneurship
Promotion
Market & industry requirements’ identification and enable
filling of the gaps in knowledge of students and faculty to
build their own apps
