Two day camp – July 2nd & 3rd: Lego Building & Blocks
We will build our imaginations in this camp as we explore building on both a small and large scale.
We will be building with boxes, recyclable materials and so much more! Bring your creativity..
the opportunities are limitless!
Week 1: July 6th to 10th- River Valley Nature Discovery
Nature, nature here we come! Exploring through the River Valley we will go fishing in the river,
hunt for bugs, play games, play I Spy and have a scavenger hunt. We will also explore nature
through art and crafts. We will have a nature parade and learn about the exciting animals and
insects that live among our nature backyard.
Week 2: July 13th to 17th – Games, Games, Games
On your mark, get set…GO! Spades, hearts, card games galore! Twister, monopoly, Clue and
many more! While outside in the green space we will play many games that include balls, a
parachute & our peers! We will play your child’s favorite game, and even learn some new ones
too.
Week 3: July 20th – 24th – Camping & Wilderness Survival
What does it take to survive in the wilderness? We will find that out in this exciting camp as we
explore hiking, outdoor games & camping, along with the many fun things to do in the wilderness.
We will put up a tent and have an outdoor campout for the day! We will sing our favourite camp
fire songs and learn some new ones too! Pack your backpack & be ready to go on an outdoor
adventure!
Week 4: July 27th to 31st – Virtual Games Camp
Does your child like Pokemon, Minecraft or Mario? If so, your child will enjoy this camp as we
explore virtual games. We will play virtual games – without the use of video games! Bring your
knowledge of your favorite virtual game
Week 5: August 4th to 7th – Sports & Fitness Camp
Football, soccer, and badminton are just a few of the sports we will play in this camp! We will
spend our days on the green space close to the centre. In this sports & fitness camp, we will
explore fitness in the form of active games, exercises, yoga, stretching and much more! We will
have tons of fun as we work our minds and bodies, with no time to spare!
Week 6: August 10th to 14th – Mad Scientist Camp
Get your goggles & gloves on, because this camp is going to be sizzling with experiments! Making
a volcano will be erupting with fun, so don’t stand too close… We will make tornado bottles,
explore color mixing in a variety of ways and enjoy the many other ways to enjoy the world of
science at our fingertips!
Week 7: August 17th to 21st – Inventor & Entrepreneur Camp
We are all young entrepreneurs! In this camp, we will explore what it means to be an inventor.
With many materials and ideas to use, our imaginations will go wild! Listening to Baroque, we
will be inspired to create what comes to our mind. The opportunities are limited with what we
can be inspired to create from simple materials such as recycled cardboard, milk & egg cartons,
recycled bottles, and any other materials we may need!
Week 8: August 24th to 28th – Summer Celebration Week
The school year is just around the corner, so let’s end summer with a week -long celebration of
what we love about summer! Field trip to the spray park, playground play, kite flying, and
summer crafts and songs! We will enjoy the warm weather and the many great things summer
has to offer 
