Company to Unveil New Contemporary Clad Doors at the 2015 IBS Show

SAN DIEGO, CA – (January 14, 2015) – LaCantina Doors (LaCantina) continues to
evolve its offerings to a market that demands innovation, style and performance to
create luxurious open spaces in homes and businesses with its new Contemporary Clad
System. LaCantina’s Contemporary Clad design will be available in their folding, multi
slide, and swing door systems. The company continues to be the single source for
complete and perfectly matching large opening door packages.
LaCantina will be unveiling its new Contemporary Clad doors at the 2015 NAHB
International Builders’ Show (IBS) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, January 20th 22nd in booth #S1410
This new material option features a 2 15/16” narrow stile and rail profile to maximize
glass and light. With 2 1/4” thick panels made of LVL core construction and high quality
extruded aluminum, the Contemporary Clad System provides greater thermal
performance to meet higher energy code demands, improved structural integrity and
low maintenance exteriors.
The Contemporary Clad offers a clean aesthetic and profile options that complement
both contemporary and traditional architectural style. In-stock color options include
white & bronze paint, and clear & bronze anodized exterior cladding which is typically
offered with more contemporary aluminum products.
When combining the square profile with a painted interior to look like aluminum,
LaCantina’s Contemporary Clad can be utilized to compliment any aluminum or clad
window package while providing far greater thermal performance - a unique option
further enhancing the diversity of this system.
The Contemporary Clad features concealed locking for ease of operation and security.
This new system will also mark the introduction of a new hardware package exclusive to
LaCantina Doors in the U.S. and is available in stainless steel or bronze finishes.
The new Contemporary Clad offers all the best features of our wood clad and aluminum
systems. Optimal thermal performance with our standard LOE glass, 2 ¼ ” thick panels
with more options offer versatility and greater structural integrity required for large door

designed the Contemporary Clad doors with concealed locks without the need to apply
undesirable surface mounted locking bolts. It’s the most evolved door system yet.”
In addition to previewing their contemporary clad system and displaying their new class
of multi slide and swing doors, LaCantina has a special celebrity appearance by
Anthony Carrino, host of HGTV’s Cousins Undercover. Carrino will meet with attendees
for a photo opportunity and sign autographs at the booth from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on
Monday, January 20th. On their popular TV Series, Cousins Undercover, Anthony
Carrino and real life cousin, John Colaneri, give unsuspecting local hero’s the surprise
of a lifetime – a completely transformed house that has been customized from the inside
and out.
For those attendees looking to experience the LaCantina Life, the company will once
again offer espresso from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and host Happy Hour from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. on
January 21st and 22nd. LaCantina’s “Happy Hour” will include beer, cocktails and live
music.
