FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FIRST AT TWO CONCERT FEBRUARY 15th IN SUPPORT OF BRIDGE COMMUNITIES FEATURES NORTH CENTRAL PIANO TRIO The North Central Piano Trio will perform in Naperville Sunday, February 15, in the First at Two concert series at First Congregational Church. Mara Gallagher, violin; Claire Langenberg, cello, and Jon Warfel, piano, will play music of Mendelssohn and Granados. Pianist Jon Warfel is a lecturer in music at North Central and staff accompanist. He has performed numerous solo piano recitals on campus and at Wentz Hall. Violinist Mara Gallagher and cellist Claire Langenberg are also adjunct faculty members in the Music Department at North Central, where both are frequently featured in string ensemble performances. A free-will offering taken at each of the previous concerts in the popular First at Two series has benefited a local community non-profit organization. Those benefited in the past include Community Access Naperville (C.A.N.), Naperville CARES, and Youth Outreach. Receiving the benefits from the February 15th concert will be Bridge Communities, a Glen Ellyn-based non-profit organization committed to empowering homeless families towards self-sufficiency. In partnership with resourceful individuals, churches, and groups in the community, Bridge Communities provides transitional housing and supportive services for families in difficult situations. In Naperville, currently, it is providing housing and services to 32 families in partnership with nine churches and community organizations.
