PRESIDENT’S CUP FOR OUTSTANDING FRATERNITY AND SORORITY The Vice President of Student Affairs will present this award to one chapter from each of the governing councils: Panhellenic Association, Pan-Hellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and United Greek Council. President’s Cup criteria: The chapter must turn in all Chapter Expectations paperwork by the deadline for award applications in order to be eligible for this award. Your overall chapter will be evaluated on the merits that you describe in your application. Your application should address all topics listed below in order to describe why your chapter deserves such recognition. The maximum page length of this application is three (3) pages single-spaced. Responses to these topics may be addressed or elaborated on in or with your supporting documentation. If you are using supporting documentation to answer a question please indicate this in the designated response area. Supporting Documentation: You may submit up to four (4) supporting documents to support your application. One document must be a letter from the national organization saying the chapter is in good standing and is currently meeting national standards or is working toward meeting the national criteria. Submission Details: All applications for each individual award must be saved as a separate PDF file and sent to greekterps@gmail.com. Each award application must include your chapter name and award name in the PDF file name (example: Chi Omega_Presidents Cup). Fraternity/Sorority Name: Chapter President: PRESIDENT’S CUP All applications must answer the following questions: 1. Describe the programming your chapter has done this year both internally and externally. 2. Describe how your chapter adheres to your ritual. 3. Describe your chapter’s public relations efforts locally, nationally, and campus wide. 4. Describe the involvement of your members and alumnus. 5. Describe how your chapter is involved in the community both on and off campus. This should include the fraternity and sorority community. 6. Describe your chapter’s new member recruitment and development process. 7. Please feel free to list any additional recognition that your chapter has received from the community, university, or your inter/national headquarters.
