The percentage of senior householders in Clay County who own their home is smaller than the percentage of senior householders who own their own home across Indiana (82.13%). The percentage of householders aged 85 years and older in the county who own their home is considerably smaller than the corresponding percentage across the state (70.94%). Finally, the percentage of seniors in Clay County who live alone is slightly larger than the percentage of all seniors who live alone across Indiana (29.11%).
