The next meeting of the NC Arts Education Coordinators is scheduled for 9:00 am, THURSDAY, October 3 rd, 2013 at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. We will meet in the Wainwright Conference Suites of lower level Belk Dining Hall. If you cannot attend, PLEASE designate someone to attend in your place. Registration check-in will open at 8:30 am. Coffee, pastries and fruit will be available upon your arrival. Lunch will also be provided. Please return the completed registration form and a $20.00 registration fee so that I receive them no later than Thursday, September 26th, 2013. Checks should be made payable to Meredith College for $20.00. Optional NC Art Education Association Related Participation Arts Education Coordinators who would like to register for the full NCAEA Professional Development Conference may use the following link: http://www.cvent.com/d/lcqhbw - all fees are listed on the website. Art Coordinators who are NOT visual arts teachers do not need to be a member to attend. Please contact Annette Kariko at annette@akconsultinggroup.org for an interim member number. Art Coordinators who ARE visual arts teachers need to use their member number. Register before September 15th to take advantage of the workshop registration and the free conference t-shirt. NCAEA is offering a special price ($50) for Arts Education Coordinators who would like to participate in the "PreConference" activities focused on Arts Integration. These activities include: Thursday Night President's Reception & Vendor Sneak Peak (at the Sheraton Hotel) Friday Morning, Common Core and Arts Workshop Friday Morning Keynote Speaker: Mel Chin, conceptual artist, Fundred Project Friday Morning, One free Integration Presentation If you plan to attend BOTH the Arts Coordinators Meeting and the NCAEA events listed above you MUST make a check payable to Meredith College for $70 (coordinator’s meeting $20 + “pre-conference” activities $50) NCAEA is utilizing the Sheraton Raleigh located in downtown Raleigh.
