I hope this memo finds you well and enjoying the start of a new year for many!
The next meeting of the NC Arts Education Coordinators is scheduled for 9:00 am, Friday,
September 30, 2011 at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. We will meet in Belk Dining Hall &
Conference Rooms. If you cannot attend, PLEASE designate someone to attend in your
place. Registration will open at 8:30 am.
Coffee, pastries and fruit will be available upon your arrival. Lunch will also be provided.
Current agenda item includes:
 A joint update from the Department of Public Instruction and Department of Cultural

Resources.
Agenda items that you submit…
Please return the completed registration form and a $20.00 registration fee so that I receive
them no later than Friday, September 23rd, 2011. Checks should be made payable to
Meredith College.
PLEASE, email, send or call in items that you wish to have on the agenda so that I also have
those no later than Friday, September 23rd. Agenda items should be specific to arts
education issues or opportunities. Make sure you include the items and the person who will
introduce the topic for discussion or present information.
