Dear Friends,
The Friends of Westwood Performing Arts is an all-volunteer community group dedicated to supporting the performing arts in the
Westwood Public Schools. The Friends of Westwood Performing Arts’ mission is to support, promote, enrich, and expand theatre
and music experiences for our students and for our entire community. Our activities include:





Raising money for unfunded Performing Arts Department needs and funding requests submitted by
Performing Arts staff
Building audiences through outreach to all the Westwood schools and the town via school publications, the
yearly Performing Arts program, social media outlets and local media
Managing ticket sales and running concession sales at performances (including donating goods for sale)
Building awareness within the town of Westwood for performing arts classes and productions
Funding scholarships for graduating seniors in all areas of the Performing Arts
