Jackson Trenton, New Jersey (Ewing, NJ) – Credit Union of New Jersey (CUNJ) and Biz Lending & Insurance Center, Inc. (BLIC) conducted a BreakFast Club Forum on April 30, 2015 at the Trenton Country Club in West Trenton, NJ. CUNJ’s BreakFast Club Forum focused on Promoting Commercial Real Estate through Creative Financing & Incentives. Eric E Jackson, Mayor of Trenton, NJ was the keynote speaker. Mayor Jackson and his associates, Michael A. Walker, Public Information Officer, and aid to the Mayor, Monique KingViehland, Director of Housing and Economic Development, shared with the sold out venue of local professionals in the commercial real estate arena the plans for the continued development of the Trenton area. In addition, Credit Union of New Jersey hosted a great panel of speakers that included Andrew L. Jaeger, President/CEO of Credit Union of New Jersey, Daniel Lanni, Vice President of The Kislak Company Inc., Paul Ceppi, Program Manager of Community Development at the NJ Economic Development Authority, along with David Lodato, Director of Business Relationships at Credit Union of New Jersey. CUNJ has created a Networking Group called the CUNJ BreakFast Club. Twice a year CUNJ will host a BreakFast Club meeting with members of the club to inform them about CUNJ’s lending programs and help generate business growth to local business owners and the commercial real estate industry professionals. Eric E Jackson Mayor Trenton, NJ Eric E. Jackson is the 55th mayor of Trenton since it was founded as a city in 1792. He was elected on June 10, 2014, and was sworn in on July 1 on the steps of City Hall in front of an audience of city residents and leaders from business, education, faith and government. An accomplished executive, community leader and devoted public servant, Mayor Jackson believes that nurturing a culture of excellence, customer service, coalition building, communications and productivity is the key to organizational performance, particularly in government. Immediately after taking office, Mayor Jackson began organizing his administration, appointing his business administrator, law director, police director and director of housing and economic development. On August 1, he appointed Francis Blanco, a Latino female and CEO of a community development nonprofit, as his chief of staff, and Jacqueline Foushee, an African American professional engineer with extensive experience designing and managing public works projects, as his director of public works Andrew L. Jaeger President/CEO Credit Union of New Jersey Andy worked for the NJ Credit Union League (NJCUL) for three years before joining Credit Union of New Jersey (formerly NJDOT Credit Union) in 1989. He was appointed President/CEO in 1992. Andy currently serves on the NJCUL Board of Directors and the NJ Credit Union Advisory Counsel. He has served on the Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank’s Credit Union Advisory Council and is a past President of the Trenton Chapter of New Jersey Credit Unions. Andy is a graduate of Northeast CUNA Management School and the Credit Union Executives Society’s CEO Institute. Andy is a past recipient of the Trenton Chapter’s Meritorious Service Award and the New Jersey Credit Union League’s Political Involvement Award. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Trenton/Mercer County Boys and Girls Club. Andy has a B.S. Degree in Business Management from West Virginia Wesleyan College Guest Speakers Daniel Lanni Vice President The Kislak Company, Inc Mr. Lanni has been in the real estate industry for over a decade and specializes in the sale of traditional and bank-owned multifamily and other investment properties in Monmouth and Ocean counties and its surrounding areas. After his first year with Kislak, Mr. Lanni received the company’s prestigious Rookie of the Year award, which recognizes a newer salesperson who records the greatest achievements during the year.
