Semi Final A
YORKSHIRE V SURREY
Surrey got off to a flying start with 3-0 wins for 4 and 5 strings, however Field kept Yorkshire in the tie with a 3-0 win
over Dunn. A close 1st string match between Santa Maria and Tweedle brought Yorkshire level, so it was all down to the
2nd string match between Arrowsmith and Bennett. Arrowsmith showed her class beating an off colour Bennett 3-0 to
take Yorkshire through to the final

Semi Final B
MIDDLESEX V KENT
One all after the first 2 rubbers. White staged a great comeback from 2-0 down at 4thstring for Kent. Campion then won
at 3rd string to inch Middlesex ahead. In a thrilling 2nd string encounter Hume had the chance to level the match for Kent
as at 2 games all she went 7/2 up in the 5th, only to be outdone by an array of winners from Brown, which won her the
game 10/8 and her Middlesex team were in the final. The dead rubber first string match was a nothing of the sort, an
absolute stunner, 52 minutes of cracking squash, and a wonderful win from 2-1 down for Akin captain of Kent

Semi Final B
DURHAM &CLEVELAND V SURREY
First blood to Middlesex as Wilde beat Duke 3-0. A strange 3-0 score line between Spence and Niven, saw Durham and
Cleveland level things up. Durham went ahead when 1st string Lumsden beat Clarke 3-0. It looked like Surrey would level
things up as Eakins went 2-0 up, but Dryden had other ideas and came back to win 3-2 and take Durham through to the
final . In the dead rubber Jackson put in a captains performance coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
