applying to. (The first 4 are free if ordered when you register for the test)

to prove you qualify for free and or reduced lunch)

27 Deadline to register for Oct. ACT
29 Jostens parent night 5-7pm (graduation cap and gown information)
If you are applying to highly selective schools, Confirm "Early Action" and "Early Decision" deadlines.
Work on college essays and applications and check for applications and financial aid deadlines.
Work on the Common Application ( not required for in-state colleges)
Ask for letters of recommendation from teachers, administrators, counselors, coaches, club advisor, etc.
Plan college campus visits over fall break.

16 Financial Aid Night, Chandler Center for the Arts 6-8 PM (Parents should attend also)
25 SAT test date.
Make sure your 2nd semester schedule includes college admission requirements.
Continue to check for scholarships!
Men 18 or older must register with the Selective Service to receive federal financial aid. Visit
www.sss.gov to register.
Research and begin to apply to Community Colleges and/or Apprentice programs.

If Student Aid Report (SAR) has not been received (4 weeks after FAFSA submitted) contact Federal
