If so, please specify: 3 Description of the Initiative (in less than 10 lines), including, as appropriate elements on size and scale of the initiative: Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil and World Animal Protection have been working together since 2011 in a cooperative program in order to build capacity related to improve animal welfare at slaughtherhouse. Training program is performed at slaughterhouse facilities and are focused on implementation of the best practice regarding animal welfare. The main objective is to contribute for diminish animal suffering during slaughter procedures and raise the numbers of socially responsible consumers with respect to animal welfare.
