Practice Area: POSITION PROFILE Medical Device – Supply Chain Management Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this position are to deliver DC’s growth strategy for several of DC’s major brands, and be Diabetes Care’s SAP and SCM super user. Individual will partner with Global Strategic Marketing, R&D, and regional Commercial organizations in driving the new product launch and PCR portfolio. Individual will work closely with global and regional supply chain planners in improving supply chain planning processes enabled by SAP and SCM tools. Individual is accountable for global bulk inventories, new product launches, SAP/SCM utilization and supply chain costs. The incumbent will: 1. Lead Product supply related global business planning activities for several global brands, including: developing new supply chain strategies, facilitating PDM activities, leading sku rationalization, and managing global product lifecycles 2. Drive process excellence and integration with SAP ECC and SCM tools across Diabetes Care. Serve as super user on global SAP/SCM teams. 3. Lead SAP and SCM tool improvement projects. 4. Ensure new products and packaging changes are planned for and implemented on-time and within budget by being a core or extended team member on PACE projects 5. Actively participate in S&OP step 3 meeting 6. Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities at suppliers and in Bayer Qualifications – Must Have: 7+ years in demand and supply planning as both individual contributor and manager; SAP (ECC) and SAP (SCM) expertise, including SNP module Strong process development and root cause/corrective action skills Excellent leadership and interpersonal relations skills that promote collaboration and transparency across the organization Strong analytical skills, including data mining and insight generation Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to simplify and communicate complex issues to the organization Some transactional SAP experience in R/3 or ECC, must have SCM New product launch experience, managed the launch, planning or strategy Some supply chain planning experience POSITION PROFILE Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills Medical device and healthcare preferred Additional Attributes: APICS certification a plus Healthcare/FDA experience CPG experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field plus 7+ years in demand and supply planning as both individual contributor and manager Benefits: A company that cares about its people Bayer cares.
