Buenas Dias! With the beginning of the new millennium, the Bureau of
Latin American Tourism, which is made up of the countries of
Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru,
and Venezuela, is gearing up for a new and fresh look to boost tourism.
As a member of one of the best public relations firms in Latin America,
your company has been awarded the contract for creating this product.
Your assignment is to design a dynamic travel brochure that showcases
your country as one of the most sought after vacation areas in the world!
TASK
You have been assigned a country by the Tourism Bureau because of
your previous work. You must now become an expert on this country for
your job. You will need to gather enough information to create a
brochure to attract tourism. Think about all of the special interests and
needs that have to be included in a successful brochure. You will have to
use your imagination and creativity to sell your country as a world class
vacation spot.
PROCESS
For your country assignment, create a colorful, informative and
dazzling brochure that will appeal to a variety of people which includes:
1. Country overview. Brief summary of the country with highlights
2. Climate and weather conditions for various times of the year.
3. Accommodations from hotels to campgrounds & Transportation
4. Arts & Culture from museums to theaters to Science and Nature
5. Food from fancy restaurants to food stalls on the street
6. Outdoor Recreation (from sports to parks and beaches) to

enough information to create an appealing brochure for the Bureau of
