Cardiologist Miret Ibrahim, MD, joins Southcoast Physicians Group
WAREHAM, Mass. — Southcoast® Health System announced today that Cardiologist, Miret
Ibrahim, MD, has joined Southcoast Cardiology, one of the largest cardiology networks in the region
with an experienced team of more than 30 cardiologists from Warwick, R.I. to Wareham.
Dr. Ibrahim will see patients at Southcoast Health System at Rosebrook, 100 Rosebrook Way in
Wareham. Southcoast Health System at Rosebrook is a full-service medical practice location that brings
together more than 30 primary care and specialty physicians, the Southcoast Center for Weight Loss and
comprehensive outpatient radiology and laboratory services.
Dr. Ibrahim is a graduate of the University of Connecticut in Farmington, Conn. She completed a
residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a
teaching hospital of Tufts University, in Burlington.
Dr. Ibrahim is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in cardiovascular medicine,
echocardiography/transesophageal, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. She is also certified in
basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. She currently resides in Billerica.
