Clinical Rotations, approximately 800 cases completed, Mercer University Nurse Anesthesia Program,
Macon, GA
 Twelve-month general rotation at The Medical Center of Central Georgia including
specialty rotations in pediatric, cardiac, vascular, thoracic, neuro, high risk obstetrics,
and level one trauma anesthesia.
 One-month general rotation at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA

Simulation Workshops/Courses Attended
All workshops/courses were held at the Peyton Anderson Building at the Medical Center of Central
Georgia, Mercer University.
 Fiberoptic Bronchoscopy, Double-Lumen Endobronchial Tube Placement, and Jet
Ventilation Course: A 6-hour course focused on psychomotor and cognitive skills in the
use of FOB for DLEBT placement. Identification of key bronchoscopic anatomy and
trans-tracheal puncture were discussed.
 Central Venous Catheter Insertion Workshop: A 4-hour workshop focused on
psychomotor and cognitive skills in the area of IJ and Subclavian catheter insertions
using simulated models with review of use of ultrasound and key anatomic landmarks
for catheter placement.



CRNA Airway Workshop: A four-hour course focused on developing skills on assessing
and managing airway skills essential to anesthesia provider. The course included
intubating adult, pediatric and neonate simulator models using different blades,
endotracheal tubes and LMAs.
Anesthesia Crisis Leadership Course: A multidisciplinary course focused on
management of complex problem-based situations and crew resource management
skills. A student anesthetist and teacher designed course working together to discuss
scenarios including airways fires, difficult intubations, anaphylaxis, and perioperative
MI.
Spinal and Epidural Workshop: A 2-hour workshop focused on skills in the area of spinal
and epidural placement using simulator models with the review of key anatomic
landmarks for needle placement.

general, medical, and trauma patients in an academic Level II trauma center.

vasoactive medications, and intracranial pressure monitors.
Responded hospital-wide to emergency codes.
Held position as preceptor for nursing students.
