Andrew Fraser-Harris
PERSONAL PROFILE
I am a committed, confident, and hardworking postgraduate with an enthusiastic personality. I have a
First Class Honours MSci Geology degree from the University of Birmingham and an MSc by
Research from the University of Edinburgh. This has led to me currently studying for a PhD at the
University of Edinburgh. During my final year at Birmingham I was inspired to gain the skills
required to research coupled processes in the subsurface. My current research focus at the University
of Edinburgh is the development of coupled process models for Engineered Geological Storage. I
enjoy being challenged, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and an attitude of always
aiming to achieve the best results by doing the best job possible. Recent appointment as the School of
Geoscience GradSchool President for the University of Edinburgh is a confirmation of these qualities.
A naturally inquisitive person, I love learning and developing new skills. Experience both as a team
member and team leader show that I am well equipped to work within any part of a team environment
or independently as required.
