Stewardship is a Life of Servanthood – Gordon P. Johnson
Stewardship is the careful and responsible management of something
entrusted to one’s care. It includes, but is not limited to money, material
possessions, health, gifts, talents, time, friends, family, oneself, our church
family and the local and global community. It is more than simply tithing.

Living in the Overflow
Resilience in Ministry: A Workshop for Pastors – Abe Funk and Friends
Are most Pastors felling fulfilled and happy in ministry, or are many
suffering burn-out and struggling just to survive? This interactive workshop
will look at recent surveys about how pastors are coping, and will explore
ways that we can be both blessed and effective over a lifetime of ministry.
A Woman Called to Lead – Kim Blackaby
What are the struggles and adjustments necessary to work out my calling
as a woman gifted to lead?
As we pour out our lives for others, are we continually replenished or
constantly drained? Are there some things we can do to co-operate with
God in his desire to fill us with living water?

Overcoming Potential Barriers to Healthy Congregational Worship –
Carolyn Arends
In this practical seminar, we’ll identify helpful strategies in dealing with
five common stumbling blocks in worshipping communities:
1. Lack of Preparation (by leadership and/or congregation)
2. Passivity
3. Goosebump Addiction
4. One-stream Worship
5. The Tyranny of Preference
Small Groups, Big Impact – Randy Wollf
Are you interested in taking your small group ministry to the next level?
Based on current research, we will see that small groups that see people
accept Christ, increase in size, and multiply into additional groups have
four things in common. They have small group leaders who grow their
groups by modelling and facilitating prayer, outreach, care and the
empowerment of group members. In the second part of the workshop,
we will look at how small group leaders can mentor the people in their
groups by asking excellent questions.
