Senior American motorcyclists begin Taiwan journey
A group of senior American motorcyclists have embarked on a
four-day journey that will take them to some of Taiwan’s most scenic
spots. They are joining locals known as the Grand Riders, who became
famous after their pursuit of a dream was made into a commercial and
then a film.
Five years ago, 17 senior motorbike drivers took a trip around
Taiwan. Their tale of lasting youth was turned into an online
advertisement viewed by millions. Later it was made into the the film
“Go Grandriders,” which recently premiered at the Busan International
Film Festival.
Documentary filmmaker Pete Starr was moved by the story. He
visited, then returned to the United States and wrote a story of his
journey for Motorcyclist Magazine. He is now back in Taiwan, and
brought other motorcyclists with him.
“Fortunately for me you people in Taiwan and the Grand Riders in
Hondao Foundation are already there. You’ve already done it, you lead
the world. You really do, you lead the world. And I want to learn from
you, take that back to England to America.” says Documentary
Filmmaker Pete Starr.
The original Taiwan Grand Riders bravely fulfilled a dream. They are
honored that their story has reached the opposite side of the world.

The age won’t be an obstacle for a man to reach his dream. The
movie ‘’Go Grandriders’’ is a good example. All of them are about 80
years old. The public think that they should stay at home at that age.
But they still want to do something they want to do. They are not
afraid of how other’s thinking. This is the attitude that we should
have.
Corrections: you could use a different wording and needed a space

always in our heart, but really can make the dream come true is few.
The reason is the dream so far and people can not finish seriously.
Many years ago, the old motorcycle riders had aged body but round the
Taiwan because of the dream. People know the thing are very touching.
Recently, the older in America also use motorcycle to finish their
dream. It is very great! I am teenager now. I am strong now. It is time to
set a goal and finish seriously. Then my life do not have any regret.
Corrections: you could use different wording for sentences and no
spaces after using quotation marks.

“You’ve already done it, you lead the world. You really do, you lead the
world.” I really like this sentence that Pete Starr said. Everyone should
have his/her own dream, the things that he/she always wants to
pursue. As for me, I’m dead for studying aboard and traveling! I want to
find out different cultures and to experience different things. That’s a
big dream to me and I’m still working on it. All in all, no matter what
dreams you have, just do your best to fulfill it.

After I read the article, I also want to have a trip around Taiwan by
motorcycle in the future. Because one of my cousin have had the
experience, and he told me that it was so amazing and I can realize how
Taiwan is so beautiful and warm. One day, I will do the thing. Taking a
trip around your country can let you know your country much deeply.
Maybe you can see the other side of your country and discover more
and more interesting thing in your trip.

After I read the article, I also want to take a trip around Taiwan by
motorcycle in the future because one of my cousins had took the
experience himself, and he told me that it was so amazing and I realize
that Taiwan is so beautiful and warm. One day, I will do the same thing.
Taking a trip around your own country can let you know your country
much deeply. Maybe you can see the other side of your country and
discover more and more interesting things on your trip.
