Axe duh Rabbi This month I was following the United Methodist Church’s General conference. As a former member of the United Methodist church I feel it is important to see what is happening since Kehilah Kol Shalom Has been on occasion been offered resources by that denomination. It concerned me when I saw the issue of sexuality had become a heated debate with much pressure from the gay and lesbian side of the table pressing hard to eliminate the words “incompatible with the Christian Faith” from the book of discipline. However sounder minds with a biblical understanding have held firm this year once again and retained the wording on that topic. This issue will eventually cause a rift in the Methodist Church and will cause many to leave . We need to be there to aid in the repair of damage done by this pagan influence and in doing so welcome those into our midst who desire to worship the never changing G-d who makes and keeps promises and never fails us . KKS has United Methodist clergy in the area that we consider to be very friendly to our faith and as far as they can according to their understanding try to follow the word of G-d in all areas. Keep these people in prayer as the Methodists realize they are among the very few that are striving to stand in opposition to the perversion of the body of Messiah by the Ultra Liberal fringe of the entire body of Messiah.
