Program objectives: To support the (COMPANY OR TEAM NAME HERE) team in the following: •Continuing to develop the competence of emotional maturity •Continuing to build competence and confidence for effective communication for –more healthy debate and –effective, timely decision making on difficult issues where consensus isn’t appropriate •Continuing to develop into a high-performing team B. Approach and Timing: The program runs for (DURATION OF PROJECT HERE) and includes working with the members of the full (TEAM NAME HERE) team with a focus on continuing to develop foundational competencies for emotional maturity. Team members will be invited to participate in Authentic Leadership Conversations™1 (team members participate on a self-selected basis). These involve ten 2.5-hour sessions over 7 months (X MONTHS are omitted due to holidays and year end) with up to 10 participants in each session. Management team members will be encouraged to attend 2 sessions (or more if they’d like to) in order to experience and practice creating a comfortable (safe) environment for healthy debate among the broader (COMPANY OR TEAM NAME HERE) team. The program duration is (PROGRAM DURATION HERE) and includes continuing with aN Authentic Leadership Conversation™ program including 2 components – at 2 different locations and different times in order to reach the full team. Details are outlined below: 1. Facilitate Conversations for the First 5 topics, as shown below, at a restaurant near the (OFFICE NAME HERE): 1. Oct - “What is emotional intelligence and how does it support leading from my authentic self?” – How are leading from authenticity and emotional intelligence business advantages? 2. Nov - “Who do you think you are?” – How do I manage my inner critic (negative inner voice)? And how is this limiting my leadership? 3. Jan - “But I don’t have the time” – How do I balance everything in my life – leadership, family, aging parents, fun? 4. Feb - “How can I say anything when I feel intimidated?” – How do I stay centered and clear in a difficult conversation where I feel intimidated by someone? 5. Apr - “I can take that on” – How do I learn to say no and be OK with it? While, Authentic Leadership Dinner Series™ and Authentic Leadership Conversations™ are the same program, the second name recognizes they can be delivered at lunch or breakfast, or even over tea (rather than just over dinner). 1 ©2012 Authentic Leadership Global, Inc. 2 2. Facilitate Conversations for 5 additional topics at a different restaurant near the (OFFICE NAME HERE). Proposed topics include: 1. Oct - “I am so uncomfortable with conflict” – How do I develop my ability to manage conflict in my leadership and my life? 2. Nov - “Will I ever have enough?” – How does a scarcity vs. abundance mindset impact my leadership and my life? 3. Jan - “I can do it myself” – How do I delegate and feel OK about it? 4. Feb - “How can I say that?” – How do I have a difficult conversation at work or where I volunteer (with an employee or contractor about her/his poor performance)? 5. Apr - “I’m not comfortable with the old rules – they don’t fit for me” – How can I support organizational leadership in being different in the 21st century? What needs to change? Component: Hours: Develop simple survey, compile results, and make final changes to program (survey focus is to determine location, day of the week, and timing for sessions) 3 Meeting to determine topics, set up venue and timing for sessions, midpoint check-in and final debrief meeting 3 Preparation and delivery for 5 Authentic Leadership Conversations™ OFFICE ONE (5 over X months) 15 Preparation and delivery for 5 additional Authentic Leadership Conversationss™ - OFFICE TWO (5 over X months) 15 Totals 36 hrs C. Fees and Payment schedule: The fees for the delivery of the F10 Authentic Leadership Conversation™ program are $6,300 Cdn plus GST and expenses. (HOURLY RATE IS $175) The GST number is (CIRCLE HOST GST NUMBER HERE).
