OBJECTIVES
The conference aims to:
1) provide a forum for educators, researchers, and practitioners to share knowledge and current trends in
certain areas of education and training
2) provide the opportunity for teachers to learn about the emerging field of Mind, Brain, and Education
Science and how it can enrich the field of education in general
3) provide presentations and workshops, based on scientific inquiry and peer-reviewed, scientifically valid
research
4) facilitate discussions and inspire participants to apply innovative and neuroscience-based methods in
their teaching
5) promote stronger collaboration amongst the participants and institutions through the sessions and
workshops.
PRESENTATION FORMATS
Plenary sessions are managed by invited speakers and guests. Each session lasts for 50-60 minutes.
Concurrent sessions are simultaneous 30-minute sessions with interaction among participants.
Demonstrations and workshops are 30-minute sessions that allow conference attendees specialized
discussions and demonstration sessions by experts on certain fields.
Q and A session is a 30-minute panel discussion in which speakers address participants’ queries on
education.
Energy breaks are short brain-friendly physical activities that can get participants moving and
energized- because human beings were not designed to sit all day-even in conferences.
