A Good Club Night – Open Panel Judging – inter club competitions

We have a division inter-club judging opportunity where clubs can send in images for other clubs to judge during a club meeting. Each division has 100 hundred images of ten per club. Each image will be judged using the international judging criteria by members of other clubs: anonymously. We think this will make for a good club night. Every one will see the photographs hosted on Focal View.

Image Critiquing Service

We have started now to offer a critiquing service to photographers everywhere who would like a second expert opinion on their potential submissions to the international competitions. For a small fee, three images at a time can be sent in for the panel of international judges to critique and offer recommendations to make the most of the image. We reason that this service will help to raise standards of creative photography even higher and give confidence; particularly to newer photographers.

Focal View Photographic Course

We designed the ten week creative photography course thinking that we might be able to help a few photographers develop a range of techniques and skills. We were not expecting the demand we have had: spectacular. You can start the course at any time and the ten weeks is a bit of a loose term. Its only ten because we made ten sections; each with a Thoughts tutorial and the ETO book included for the Image and

Text module where we look at collaboration between writer and photographer. During the course you receive on-to-one tuition and image critiquing on your module required submissions.
