The Prometeo project Senescyt - ESPOCH seeks to link academics - high level researchers to
our institution, and increase storage capacities, scientific research and technological innovation
at local and international levels, enhancing lines and generating dynamic research groups. Thus,
in this process of national and international relationships, here are some goals, achieved by our
ESPOCH Prometeo researchers, who have shown their work on events relating to the
international scientific community , showing the ESCUELA SUPERIOR POLITECNICA
CHIMBORAZO, as an institution of thought and global development.
Dr. Monica Cartelle:
Representing as a ESPOCH Prometeo researcher, Dr. Monica Cartelle, who was linked to the
School of Public Health, presented two projects in Cambridge conducted with students of the
Faculty of Public Health (Medicine), in the Conference “Welcome Trust Scientific Conferences Genomic Disorders 2014" held in March. the work shown is "icthyosis, case of report . A growing
problem in Ecuador" and "Seckel, a case report from Ecuador."
Dr. Gabriela Mogos:
As Prometeo ESPOCH researcher Dr. Gabriela Mogos, participated in CSCI 2014
"International Conference on Computational Science and computational Intelligence"
performed in Vegas , USA in March, showing the paper and poster "Cubic Quantum
Security " activities on behalf of the ESPOCH and as part of her work on the
Faculty of Computers and Electronics.
Dr. Antonio Peramo:
By invitation of the organizers of the 4th Annual World Congress of Molecular & Cell Biology
2014, held in Dalian - China on April; Dr. Antonio Peramo ESPOCH Prometeo researcher made
his oral presentation and poster presentation on the subject
"Characterization of cultured keratinocytes using a new technique which does not require
subculturing enzymatic digestion: Effect of rapamycin". As well his publication on the abstract
book of the conference.
