Environmental Leadership Award
This award recognises outstanding environmental leaders, whether
individuals or organisations that have exemplified inspirational,
visionary and innovative leadership and action for the environment.
The winner will demonstrate that they have effected change in the
business and with other stakeholders including customers and
suppliers.

About the application process
Thank you for applying for SBC’s Environmental Leadership Award.
This award recognises outstanding environmental leaders, whether individuals or organisations
that have exemplified inspiration, vision, innovation, leadership and action for the environment.
The winner will demonstrate that they have effected change in the business and with other
stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
Eligibility
Award entry is open to
 members of Scottish Business in the Community and Business in the Community
 private sector businesses that operate in Scotland.
The entry will be for activities delivered in Scotland.
Process
Entry to the awards is open until Friday 12th February 2016.
Please note that word count is important. We ask respectfully that you adhere to the word count
per section. There is a 10% marginal allowance per section. Please note that in order to be fair to
all applicants, if you choose to exceed the word count per section by more than 10%, additional
words will be cut and not given consideration by the judges.
Please send all completed entries to Ailsa Cormie, Programme Manager, at
ailsacormie@sbcscot.com.
The entries will be assessed and winners chosen by an independent panel of prestigious judges.
Their decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Winners of the Scottish Business in the Community Awards 2015 will be announced at a
spectacular evening in central Edinburgh in June 2016.
