TRADES TRAINING FACILTY Building will be managed by International House staff and leased to the Northern Territory Government for nursing accommodation. Project Manager: Rik Jones 8946 7737 Design Consultant: Mode Designs Pty Ltd Initial design was done in house and Mode Designs Pty Ltd won the contract for construction documentation. Building was constructed by Sunbuild Pty Ltd. 20 BED ACCOM 1 TRADES TRAINING 1 CLM BUILDING 2 PALMERSTON LAND 2 HR COUNTER 2 OTHER WORKS 2 CDU is planning the construction /upgrade of trade training facilities at Casuarina Campus. Contract for construction documentation services has been awarded to Mode Designs Pty Ltd. Detailed design work is continuing. It will accommodate 30 students and 5 staff. PALMERSTON LAND DEVELOPMENT Project Manager: Ken Suter 8946 6309 Construction: CIC-LDC HR COUNTER Project Manager: Ranjith Dias 8946 6259 Construction: Pattermore Constructions Pty Ltd Construction of a Counter for HR has been completed. Pattemore Construction worked after hours and on week-ends to minimize disruption to staff. OTHER PROJECTS ORANGE 11 LEVEL 1 REFURBISHMENT – Rik Jones 8946 7737 A new space has being created to incorporate Architecture, Design and the Building Drafting team in the area vacated by Fashion. CASUARINA FIRE MAINS – Tom Lacey 8946 6114 ORANGE 2 LEVELS 2, 3, & 4 – Rik Jones 8946 7737 ORANGE 1 LEVEL 2 – Ken Suter 8946 63609 RED 6 Refurbishment and Fit-out – Ranjith Dias 8946 6529 Sales of allotments in stages 1, 2 & 3 have progressed well and stage 4 is to open shortly. Road works and infrastructure are continuing and it is anticipated that house construction will commence July 2013.
