o Evaluated and treated patients with orthopedic injuries.
o Developed and improved manual therapy techniques for all diagnoses.

o Implemented a check off list to organize and ensure that aid responsibilities were being

o Trained and oriented new aids to the environment and job responsibilities.
Applied Neurological Anatomy Physical Therapy Teaching Assistant (January 2015 – May 2015)
o Provided private and group study sessions outside of class.
o Implemented weekly review sessions and practice practicals before exams.
o Encouraged students to prepare for upcoming lectures during review sessions by

o Raised money for the Foundation for Physical Therapy to provide more funding for

o Worked with a team of physical therapist to assemble and fit adaptive bicycles for 12
children with special needs.

VCU Wellness Block Party
o Coordinated the physical therapy department’s role in the block party with the chair of
event.
o Conducted balance screens, diabetic foot screens, and aerobic fitness test for members
of the Richmond community.
o Assembled and scheduled teams of PT students to participate in the event.

Moving and Shaking 5K: VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center
o Volunteered recording finish times and rank of participants during the race as well as set
up and clean up.

Middle School Allied Health Exploration Day
o Presented middle school children information about what it means to be a physical
therapist and instructed them in gait training, balance exercises, and wheel chair
mobility.
o Exposed children to opportunities of becoming a physical therapist.
