ASSESSED ESSAY DEADLINES
2015/2016
Essays must be submitted electronically via Tabula by 12 noon on the day they are due, at
the latest, or at any time beforehand. Please print out the Tabula receipt.
Please also print out your essay, fill out and sign the departmental cover-sheet, and submit
it, along with your Tabula receipt to the dept office by 12 noon on the day it is due, at the
latest, or at any time beforehand. Please ensure that both e- and printed versions of your essay
are identical. Please sign the logbook to show that the essay has been submitted.
Late submission without an authorised extension will attract a penalty of 5 marks per day,
starting at 12.01 on the due date. Extensions will only be authorised in exceptional
circumstances, via requests supported with independent documentation, only by the Head of
Department (Alison) and Director of Undergraduate Studies (David), whom you need to contact
well before the deadline (see department handbook).
