“It’s a Melody”
There's a little ditty that's stuck in my
head,
ratt'lin' around since I got out of bed.
What can it be?
Diddle dee dye dee dee, it's a melody!
Notes that are short, notes that are
long,
put the notes together and you've got a
song.
Soon you will see, diddle dee dye dee
dee, it's a melody!
It can be high, it can be low,
it can be very very fast, or oh, so slow.
It can be happy, or it can be blue,
'cuz when you're makin' up a melody,
the choice is up to you.
So sing at school, sing at play,
sing some melodies ev'ry day.
Sing and be free, diddle dee dye dee dee,
sing a melody!
Melody, sing it with me.
Like it? I love it! Sing a melody!
Melody, sing it with me.
Like it? I love it! Sing a melody!
It can be high, it can be low,
it can be very very fast, or oh, so slow.
It can be happy, or it can be blue,
'cuz when you're makin' up a melody,
the choice is up to you.
So sing at school, sing at play,
sing some melodies ev'ry day.
Sing and be free, diddle dee dye dee dee,
sing a melody!
Sing and be free,
diddle dee dye dee dee, sing a melody!

to start!
I heart a beat! I hear a beat!
There's rhythm in your hands you can
understand.
There's rhythm in your feet when you're
on the street.
There's rhythm in the rain, and rhythm in
your brain.
There's music all around, come on, let's
start.
Start with the rhythm, of the heart,
Can you feel it? Let's go!
Lub dub buh lub dub, lub dub buh lub dub,
lub dub buh lub dub, lub dub buh lub dub.
The rhythm of the heart is where it
starts
so do your thing, and do your part.
The rhythm of the heart is where it
starts,
so do your thing, and do your part.
Lub dub buh lub dub, lub dub buh lub dub,
lub dub buh lub dub, lub dub buh lub dub.
The rhythm of the heart is where it
starts
so do your thing, and do your part.

“Harmony”
Harmony, Harmony,
It's the very best place for you and me
to be.
Harmony, Harmony,
Good things happen to those who live in
harmony.
Find some notes you like to sing in a
friendly key.
Find someone to sing along, you'll begin
to see
that when you work together to reach a
common goal
you'll find that love is in your heart,
and joy is in your soul!
Harmony, Harmony,
It's the very best place for you and me
to be.
Harmony, Harmony,
Good things happen to those who live in
harmony.

“Watch That Tone in Your Voice”
If you have a voice, then you have a
choice,
you can make a sound, spread it all
around.
Voice, Choice, Sound, 'Round.
Watch that tone in your voice!
If you're feelin' brassy, sing it really
sassy.
If you're feelin' tinny, sing it with a
whinny!
Brassy, Sassy, Tinny, Whinny!
Watch that tone in your voice!
It may be bright. Meep, meep!
It may be dark. Woo!
Like a crow. Caw! Caw!
Like a lark. Doodleoo doot doo doo.
It may be sweet. Ahh!
It may be sourrr. Ick!
The colors of the rainbow.
Tone is a wonderful thing!
So if you're feelin' happy, sing it
really snappy.
If you're feelin' kooky, make it really
spooky.
Happy, Snappy, Kooky, Spooky!
Watch that tone in your voice!
Raht ta ta, ta ta ta ta ta,
raht ta ta, ta ta ta ta ta.
Hoo, hoo. Watch that tone in your voice.
Raht ta ta, ta ta ta ta ta,
raht ta ta, ta ta ta ta ta.
Hoo, hoo. Watch that tone in your voice.
It may be bright. Meep, meep!
It may be dark. Woo!
Like a crow. Caw! Caw!
Like a lark. Doodleoo doot doo doo.
It may be sweet. Ahh!
It may be sourrr. Ick!
The colors of the rainbow.
Tone is a wonderful thing!
So if you're feelin' happy, sing it
really snappy.
If you're feelin' kooky, make it really
spooky.
Happy, Snappy, Kooky, Spooky!
Watch that tone in your voice!
Woh! Woh! Watch that tone in your voice!
“Got Form?”
Start with strophic, you can call it A,
it's so simple, like a child at play,
like
"Down in the Valley" or "Amazing Grace,"
music time cannot erase.
When you add another A,
the words might change but the music is
the same.
Now you've got another verse,
makes it easy to rehearse.
Now do somethin' diff'rent with a change
of harmony,
you've got a new section, you can call it
B.
It's a verse and chorus, A and B
combined,
like "O Susannah" or "Clementine."
Go back to A again, don't go astray.
Put all you heard together, now don't
delay,
you'll find a form played 'round the
world today!
Add it all up: A A B A!
We've got Form! Yeah, we've got Form!
Theme and variations, and rounds that
rhyme,
we'll save these forms for another time,
we've got Form, Form, we've got form!
“Music and Me”
Music and me, we go together so
nat'rally.
Music and me, music and me!
Music and me, we go together like A B C.
Music and me, music and me!
When I'm feelin' happy, when I'm feelin'
sad,
music always picks me up,
and it makes me feel so glad. I'm singin'
Music and me, we go together so
nat'rally.
Music and me, music and me!
Music and me, we go together like 1 2 3.
Music and me, music and me!
When I'm feelin' lonely, when I'm feelin'
blue,
music always does the trick, it'll do the
same for you,
and that's why music and me,
we go together so nat'rally.
Music and me, music, music, music and me!
oouh! oouh! oouh! oouh! oouh! oouh! Huah!
First you find a melody, that's where you
want to start.
Add a little harmony from in your heart.
Now you've got the rhythm and it feels so
right.
Come on ev'rybody, this is outta sight.
One, two, three, kick!
One, two, three, kick!
One, two, three, kick!
One, two, three, kick!
Ev'rybody's singin' and the band is gonna
play.
A little bit of music's gonna make your
day.
Come on ev'rybody, gotta take a chance.
Music is what moves you and you gotta
dance.
Music and me, we go together so
nat'rally.
Music and me, music and me, very soft
now.
Music and me, we go together like A B C.
Music and me, music and me, ev'rybody!
Music and me, we go together like do re
mi.
Music and me, music, music, music and me.
Yeah!
