Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC rules and regulations including, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial.

**Dogs must be registered with NADAC to compete in a NADAC sanctioned trial. Dog must have a valid registration number before entries will be accepted. On line registration available at www.nadac.com

This trial is open to dogs at least eighteen months of age, including purebred and non-purebred.

Bitches in heat, lame, or blind dogs are ineligible for entry, as is any dog with a deformity which may cause a judge to not be able to reasonably assess the dog’s ability to function and perform agility obstacles safely, and in a manner that is in the best interest, health, and welfare of the dog.

Current Jump Height Table, Breed Exemption List, description of classes, levels, and divisions are included in the current

Exhibitors Handbook. A copy of the Exhibitors Handbook may be downloaded free at www.nadac.com

Please note that NADAC trials should provide a safe and fun environment for both exhibitors and their dogs.

Aggressive dogs will not be tolerated and will be excused from the trial site.

Any dog which the judge feels is not in enough control to perform all obstacles in a safe manner will be excused from the agility trial.

It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the organizing committee, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no fees shall be refunded. Safety shall always be of foremost consideration in actions and conduct by handlers and their guests at all times.

All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring, and must be contained unless being prepared to run. Dogs are to be kept away from horses and other livestock that may be on the property.

All crates and exercise pens are to be setup only in designated areas. Exhibitors must stay within designated areas.

Each exhibitor is responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s) everywhere on the property, cleaning up his/her setup area and for helping to keep the entire show site clean.

The organizing committee may refuse any entry on the basis expressly provided through NADAC rules and regulations or guidelines established by NADAC. Competitors not currently in good standing with NADAC or PAC may not entry.

Checks (or other forms of payment) not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry fee. There will be a $25.00 service charge for any returned check.

No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.

THE MANAGEMENT will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is expressly understood that every dog at this event is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of any

NADAC or PAC representative, be asked to leave the trial site. In such case, no fees shall be refunded.

THIS IS A CONTAINERIZED TRIAL – Food/Toys in pocket: Food or a small noiseless toy may be carried into the ring in your pocket provided it is contained in a ziplock bag or small container such as a pill bottle. The container cannot be visible in the ring nor within 10 feet of the ring. You cannot indicate to your dog that you have this item on you. You are not allowed to remove the container until you are at least 10 feet outside the ring. All food and toys must be contained at the trial and none can be left lying about loose. This policy reduces the possibility of dogs fighting over loose food or toys, handlers being dragged back to wherever their reward was left, dogs ingesting items they’re allergic to, etc.

IMPORTANT Please check your dog's NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. The individual trial results submitted by the club are uploaded to www.NADACForum.com list within two weeks after the NADAC office receives them from the club. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the

NADAC Forum by going to www.NADACForum.com

and submitting your request. Your dog’s points can be found in the Members

Section. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog’s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC. Levels Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records.

General Judge’s Briefing at 7:45 am; first Dog on the Line at 8:00 a.m.

Measurement forms may be obtained at www.nadac.com

in the Exhibitors Resources section. All dogs entered in the Proficient category, Standard Division for Novice, Open or Elite jumping 8”, 12” or 16” are required to be measured.

Dogs that do not need to be measured:  Dogs jumping 20” or 20+  Veteran or JH dogs that jump 16”  Skilled category dogs at any jump height  Dogs listed on the Height Exemption List and  Dogs with permanent height cards.

NON-JUMPING CLASSES – VETERAN OR DISABLED HANDLER:

Veteran Dogs

– Dogs between 7 and 9 years of age may enter the Veteran Division. As of their 9th birthday they MUST enter

Veterans for all jumping classes, and after their 12th birthday the dog must enter as Skilled Veterans. (Veterans Division for jumping classes and Skilled Category for non-jumping classes.)

Non-Jumping classes – Veteran Handler: Is an option for disabled handlers or handlers aged 60 yrs. or older when entering nonjumping classes. Veteran Handler dogs must jump 4” lower than their Proficient Standard Division jump height and receives additional standard course time. The additional SCT is for qualifying purposes only for those who may need the additional time to negotiation the course due to physical limitations. Veteran Handlers in the non-jumping classes will be scored and placed with their standard division jump height.

Intro Level Courses are shorter than Novice courses. Jump heights can be chosen by the handler without regard to the dog's height, with 16" being the maximum. There are no contact/tunnel discriminations & no weave poles except in Intro Weavers which has one set of six.

There are no special Divisions in Extreme Hoopers and/or Barrelers. When offered all dogs will run at their Proficient Standard

Division Jump Height.

Confirmations and trial information will be emailed. Please be sure your email address is complete and easily read.

KENNELING: K enneling is on dirt, inside the same large covered arena as the agility ring. No canopies needed. Most exhibitors prefer placing their kennels/x-pens on top of a ground cloth. Bring your chair(s). Usually you can drop off your items at the arena and then proceed to the dirt parking area a couple hundred feet away. Because of the parking location, it is suggested you bring your “wheels”.

Should it rain the area around the arena and parking lot can get very muddy and driving near the arena may become restricted.

Creek Hollow Ranch is a beautiful working equestrian center. The owners allow us to explore the hills around the arena with our dogs, but ask that the dogs be kept away from the horses. There are lots of places to explore without going in the direction of the horses. Pick up after your dog, everywhere on the ranch. There is always the possibility of a horse show/seminar taking place in one of the other arenas and we may need to share part of the dog show’s parking area.

Workers: Day-light is short in February so an efficient trial if important. Thank you for helping during the weekend.
