Set out in this booklet is a list of churches which have been attended by students in the past or are situated in areas in which students reside. If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch. The ‘Master’ (= Vicar) is also chaplain at Newcastle university. It is actively engaged in campaigning on social justice issues, and the sermons and worship tend to reflect this. Theology is important and directed towards enabling listeners to engage with the subject and think for themselves. We have a passion for getting people of different faiths to talk to each other; and frequently have events including this, as well as talks on faith-related subjects.
