1 Training Objectives

2 Training Requirements
(1) Master natural science foundation knowledge, humanities and social
sciences, English language skills;
(2) Master the basic skills of engineering drawing; with skills of water
analytical chemistry, microbiology, basic knowledge of hydraulics,
Electro techniques, computer applications and basic skills;
(3) Access to water supply and drainage engineering, building water and
wastewater engineering, industrial water supply and drainage works,
water supply and drainage construction, basic principles and methods of
Engineering CAD and design of pumping station, planning, design,
construction and operation of initial design capacity and some of the
scientific research capacities;
(4) Knowledge of recent development in the field of water supply and
drainage engineering.
(5) Have a high level computer skills and master the basic methods of
document retrieval, data query, good spoken and written language skills.

Civil Engineering, Public Works
4 Major Courses
Analysis of higher mathematics, English, organic chemistry, inorganic
chemistry, physical chemistry, water chemistry, microbiology of water
treatment, engineering mechanics, hydraulics, pump and pumping station
design, water supply and drainage systems, building water supply and
drainage engineering, water supply and drainage engineering construction,
water supply and drainage engineering structure, water resource
protection and water processing equipment use, environmental ecology.
5 The Main Practice Teaching Parts
Experiment of courses, Cognition practice, Working experience, Present
situation investigation, Cases study, Graduation practice, Graduation
design (or thesis).
Main experiment of courses including design experiment of pump and
pumping station design, water supply and drainage systems, building
water supply and drainage engineering and etc.

Each student must obtain 10 credits from extracurricular practice.
Each student must obtain 4 credits from personality development. The courses
are arranged in the 7th semester, totally taking 6 weeks. If student choose 1st,
2nd or 3rd part content, this course will be arranged in the 6th semester and
Personality
Development
input scores in 7th semester.
Content includes case intensive training(2 credits), scientific and technological
innovation ability training(2 credits), environmental management capacity
training(2 credits), the foundation course strengthen(2 credits), guidance for
starting an undertaking. Each student chooses by himself which part content will
participate in, based on his personal development and empolyment goals.
