Honour Roll = 79.5% and up; First Class Honours = 89.5% and up – BUT – it's the average of every subject, not just for Mr.Dahl

NOTE – final standing for the grade is determined as follows:

First term percentage for subject x .25% ……. Example term 1 Math = 90% x .25 = 22.5

Second term percentage for subject x .35% … Example term 2 Math = 80% x .35 = 28

Third term percentage for subject x .40% ….. Example term 3 Math = 70% x .40 = 28

FINAL MARK FOR YEAR = new ‘weighted’ value for term 3 Math is 28+28+22.5 = 78.5% which is different than what you would get if all 3 terms were weighted equally

(90+80+70)/3 = 80%. Term weightings reflect the fact that term 1 is shortest and term 3 is longest.
