[[[Students]]] Help Keep Landfills Clean by Collecting E-waste
TRENTON, N.J., June 17, 2013 – ORG NAME is hosting a community e-waste collection drive with
recycling pioneer TerraCycle®. Residents who drop off e-waste, including (LIST OF E-WASTE
ITEMS), will keep local landfills cleaner and raise money for a good cause at the same time. For each
piece of acceptable waste collected, TerraCycle awards points that can be used for charity gifts or can be
converted to cash and donated to a charity of (ORG NAME’s) choice.
Beginning DATE, CITY residents can drop off e-waste at ADDRESS from TIME to TIME. (ADD ANY

volunteers from the community to make the e-waste drive successful.
E-waste collections are made possible through TerraCycle’s free Brigade® programs which are collection
and recycling programs for typically hard-to-recycle products and packaging. Anyone can sign up to send
e-waste to TerraCycle for recycling, and earn money for the charity or school of their choice in return.
TerraCycle runs free collection programs for almost 50 kinds of non-recyclable or hard-to-recycle waste.
