Vision Kimberly Magginson The Mathematics Department at Windsor Mill Middle School is a tight-knit, collaborative group of professionals passionate about their students, their content, and their craft. We believe that all students will be able to reason and communicate proficiently in mathematics. I am a graduate of Coppin University. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Leadership in Teaching with an Administrative Certificate. I have been teaching for 18 years and this is my third year at Windsor Mill Middle School. I am also a host teacher for Baltimore County Public School’s very own television show, Math Homework Helpers. I am the Mathematics Department Chair and I teach Algebra 1 & Algebra 2 Amanda Holtschneider My name is Amanda Holtschneider. I am a graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2011. After graduation, I long term substituted at Perry Hall Middle School and Pot Spring Elementary. At Perry Hall Middle, I discovered my love of middle school mathematics and pursued a career in the Math field. I graduated from Villa Julie College now known as Stevenson University. I am a huge sports fan, but my first love is for the sport of basketball. I played throughout college and coach the 8th grade girls here at WMMS. I am looking forward to a wonderful and successful year. Evan Rothman My name is Evan Rothman and I am a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park. I am currently attending Johns Hopkins University to receive my Master’s in Urban Education and Administration. This is my second year teaching at Windsor Mill Middle School. I am very excited for a great 2012-2013 school year! I am Ms. Kravec. I graduated from Villa Julie College in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education 1-8. I am currently obtaining my Master's Degree with Walden University in Reading and Math. Prior to joining the staff at Windsor Mill, I worked in Baltimore City teaching 8th grade mathematics and science. I am excited to be working in Windsor Mill Middle with the sixth graders. Andrew Hoffman My name was Andrew HoffmanA graduate of Florida State University, I earned a dual degree with a Bachelor in Science in Economics and a Bachelor in Science in Finance and Multinational Business Operations. I am a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated; a fraternity founded at Morgan State University in 1963. A 2011 Corps member of Teach For America, I am earning my full teaching certification through Johns Hopkins University. My hobbies include photography, domestic policy reading, and carpentry. Denise Garner My name is Denise Garner. I have been at Windsor Mill for six years. I'm currently teaching Language! and Algebraic Foundations to 6th graders. I'm also the Special Education Department Chair at Windsor Mill. I graduated from Woodlawn High School and Coppin State College. Marybeth Beggs This is my 16th year teaching in Baltimore County Public Schools. I have my Masters Degree and am Triple Certified in Special Education, Middle School Mathematics, and as a Reading Specialist. I firmly believe every child can learn and it is our responsibility as educators to provide safe yet nurturing learning environments in which children can do so and take risks to extend their learning.
