1 Intending exhibitors are requested to peruse the rules and regulations and be prepared
To comply with them.
2 The Society reserves the right to alter or cancel any class or competition at any time

4 Any Objections to any winner in any class or competition must be lodged with €50
With the Secretary in writing ,within 1 Hour of the event.
5 Exhibitors are to understand that although every reasonable precaution will be taken to
ensure
The safety and welfare of animals, The society will not be responsible for loss or damage
or acccident of any kind that may occur ,neither will the society be accountable for any
accident that may occur to any person attending the show whether as a visitor ,exhibitor ,or
otherwise.
6 The Committee reserve the right to refuse entries,varying the prize list,or arrangements, or
removing any animal or other exhibit at any time during the show.The Society shall not in
any way be liable for any claim for compensation or otherwise arising out of the holding,
abandonment or postponement of the show, nor for any claim arising out of or connected
with the show.
7 The Judges decision is final.
8 Exhibitors /Competitiors must obey the stewards at all times
9 Protecetive head gear conforming to recommended kitemark standard and fittted with an
adjustable harness. It is compulsory for all riders under 16 yrs and for riders in working
hunter horse and working hunter pony competitions.In ridden show classes riders over
16yrs may if they choose wear a bowler hat [gentlemen] or a velvet hunt cap [ladies]
10 Anyone found interfering with any exhibit or disarranging any display will be asked to
leave the grounds. For the convenience of exhibitors, the society has arranged that a
veterinary surgeon will be on call at short notice to attend to sick or injured animals , but
fees for this service will be payable by the owner concerned.
11 The society requires the winners of cups and trophys, to sign for recipt of same and give an
undertaking to return same in as good a condition as it was recived at least 28 days prior to
next show.
12 Entry fees. Withdrawl of entries after the 18th of May 2015 are not refundable.
Important notice to all owners /exhibitors involved in the showing of
animals.
The Irish Shows Association would advise all Animal owners who have their Animals Insured to
have the Insurance cover extended to cover them while showing Animals at Shows, we understand
that it costs very little or nothing at all depending on who you have Insurance cover with.
The reason for us in giving you this advice is that if you’re animal were to lash out , and injuire
someone or damage someone’s property, and it is established that your animal was out of control
at that time ,you may be held responsible or partly responsible for any injury or damage caused
and could end up paying all,or part of any settlement reached.

1 Gun dog any variety ---dog/bitch
2 Dog must be handled by a person over 16 years
3 Dogs in final not eligible to compete in other classes at Beltra show
4 These rules should be read in conjunction with the Irish shows association rules

1 Small dog any breed to be handled by a child under 16 years

3 TWO DOG’s from each show and each class to qualify
4 Entries in this championship of may compete in any other class at KILGARVEN show .
5 All dogs must enter ring without rosettes
