ERASMUS+ 2014-2020 and the In Service Training Courses

Greetings from Finland. Once again the Erasmus+ call is online for the next round. Please go to

If you want to apply an Erasmus+ grant to your school, please pay attention to the following :
1) The school staff should communicate about the needs of the school: in particular the
pupils needs and the staff needs. The following questions could be discussed:
a) What are the basic problems we face in the school life? -> What are the needs
that arise from this discussion?
b) Why do we need training or another action abroad? Is it possible to have the
training in local or national level instead?
2) The main aim of the Erasmus+ is to make schools INTERNATIONAL. In the
Internationalization Plan, which the headmaster signs and sends to the National Agency, you
don’t have to mention in which training the teachers want to participate. But it is necessary to
mention the country of the training, job shadowing or seminar, because then the NA can
estimate the travel and subsistence costs. Also you need to say how many days the mobility
takes.
3) Please pay attention to the quality of the application: indicate clearly the result of the needs
analyses, the European dimension plan and the plan to disseminate the learned outcomes
in the entire school level and its environment.
4) Also consider carefully to implement the eTwinning in your internationalization plan, and
also use the EUROPASS tool to gather the experiences and knowledge during the process.
These two tools are good to mention in your application.
The deadline for the second round school application is on 4.3.2015.
