CAMPFIRE GRILL FABRICATION
Students enrolled in Agricultural Mechanics I course for the 2015-2016 school year will be fabricating a campfire grill
from raw materials during the Ag Mechanics Summer Program. Materials
for the project will cost
each student $20.00. Participation in the Summer Agricultural Program does not require you to build the
campfire grill.
This activity will focus on the following tasks:
 Welding Techniques
 Welding/Shop Safety
 Record Keeping
ESTIMATED SCHEDULE
The scope of fabrication is expected to span approximately 4 days. Select which group you will participate in and
write the number in the chart above next to the group number (example: my student would like to construct the
campfire grill on date July 13-16 so write group #3 in the column above).
Group #1: June 15-18 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Group #2: June 15-18 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Group #3: July 13-16 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Group #4: July 13-16 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Group #5: July 27-30 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Group #6: July 27-30 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
SIGNATURES
Complete the Project Authorization form with the required signatures. Pay the required $20.00 fee to the front office
at Wasatch High school. Attach the receipt to this form and return it to Mr. Rose before May 29, 2015 to enroll in the
Ag Mechanics Summer Project Program.
