HISTORY HONORS PROGRAM Students may be admitted to the program in the spring semester of their junior year after formally declaring a major in history; applications are due no later than February 1 of the junior year. To be admitted, students must: Have completed 15 credits of coursework in history (at least 6 of these must be at or above the 300 level and must have been earned at the University at Albany. Have earned a GPA of at least 3.25 overall and an average in history of 3.50. Submit evidence of their written work, preferably a paper written for a history course.
