The abstracts of the PhD students and Post-doctoral fellows who indicate “platform or poster”
will be reviewed by the OVSOT executive council, and those selected for platform presentations
will be notified by email on or before October 23rd. The winners of the PhD student and Postdoctoral fellow platform competitions will serve as representatives on the OVSOT
executive council for one year and will receive travel funds to represent OVSOT at the
2015 National SOT meeting. To be eligible for the PhD or Post-doctoral platform or poster, or
the MS poster competitions, the student must be a member of OVSOT (undergraduate students
are exempt from membership requirements; verification of membership will be requested before
any travel funds are awarded). Additionally, eligibility for the PhD or Post-doctoral platform
awards require submission of an abstract to the 2015 National SOT meeting, and availability to
attend.
