Luevano Medical Plaza
The City of Crystal City hosted a historic ground breaking ceremony on June 3, 2015 for the
Luevano Medical Plaza. Supported by City resources and financial support from the Economic
Development Corporation, Dr. Alfonso Luevano’s vision of a downtown Crystal City medical
center offering dialysis, physical therapy, urgent care, pharmacy, and other medical services is
approaching reality.
“I appreciate the vision of the United City Council of Crystal City in supporting my model for
delivering health and wellness care to our community,” said Dr. Luevano.
Texas State Representative Tracy King offered remarks at the groundbreaking. “The current
Council and City leadership have made a strong and very positive impression at the State
Capitol, and this ground breaking is another example of their hard work and vision for the
future.”
Mayor Ricardo Lopez expressed the on-going support of City leadership for economic growth.
“The City Council and the Economic Development Corporation will continue to work together to
bring more business and jobs for the community.”
