CACG is seeking candidates to fill a position in our manufacturing growth department. Responsibilities
will include but not limited to assisting production crystal growth. Previous experience in high
temperature bulk crystal growth techniques is desired . An educational background in ceramics,
chemistry, or physics is desired. The candidate must be able to function within a team environment;
communicate, collaborate and interact with manufacturing operations and R&D alike. Training will be
provided. Any technical degree from Associates to BA or BS in a relevant discipline.

Production Manager
Crystal Growth Production Manager. Lead, monitor, train and provide direction to a team of crystal
growth technicians. Distribute work load among team members. Implement, control, review and adjust
schedules and capacity plans for department. Manage allocation of resources. Make decisions about
equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement. Maintain inventories, databases and
inter-departmental communication as it relates to crystal growth. Review, release and update work
instructions and operating procedures. Monitor product quality. Minimum of 5 years of Crystal Growth
and Management experience required. Quality Systems and Standards, Test and measurement
equipment. Solid computer and report writing skills are required. Experience with Oracle, SolidWorks,

NPI Engineer
Designs, modifies and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product
definition and planning through production and release. Develops, implements and maintains methods,
operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components,
subassemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of
new products. Estimates manufacturing cost and makes recommendations for tooling and process
requirements of new product. Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of
manufacturing operations. Serves as a resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and
marketing as the product(s) move to completion. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's
lifecycle, from product release through maintenance of the product and end of life decisions. Ensures
that products shipped meet specifications and quality goals. BS or MS in Applied Physics or Optics.
