B-scan ultrasound
We have recently acquired a Quantel Compact Touch ultrasound scanner. This is an extremely useful
instrument when assessing patients whom have conditions such as retinal detachment, vitreous
haemorrhage and posterior segment tumours and media opacities including dense cataract.
This complements the suite of retinal imaging technology at Armadale Eye Clinic which includes
Digital Fluorescein Angiograph and Spectralis OCT and Nideck Fundus photography.
