About our Sports Therapy courses
The aim of the Undergraduate courses is to develop both your academic and
practical skills, so that you will achieve both clinical competence and graduate-level
ability. The post-graduate course is designed for Sport and Exercise graduates to
transfer and utilise their BSc course skills by applying them in a practical manner.
This knowledge underpins the clinical examination and assessment to produce
Masters level Sports Therapists.
Attracting students from a wide variety of backgrounds, the courses will enable you
to develop both subject-specific knowledge and the ability to relate it to the clinical
situation. The courses are accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists (SST) and
provide a strong scientific basis from which the pathologies and management of
sports and dance injuries can be understood. On completion of a course, you will
have the ability to diagnose, form and implement a treatment / rehabilitative plan for
a sport, dance or exercise related injury or dysfunction.
