Requirements for Earning a Varsity Letter
-An athlete must participate in all fundraisers and/or community service projects required by the coach(s) before, during, or after the
figure skating season. Exceptions must be excused before the service date.
-An athlete must attend the figure skating banquet (Awards Night-TBD) or they will not receive their certificate, letter or any other award.
Exceptions must be excused before the event date.
-An athlete must not miss any competitions they are scheduled to compete during because of participation in a non-school club,
recreational, etc. activity. Exceptions must be approved by the coach(s).
-An athlete must display sportsmanship and conduct which exemplifies the school to his/her competitors, spectators, teammates, and
officials and must conform to practice and competition rules/regulations as established by the Chippewa Figure Skating Club and the
coach(s).
-An athlete must conform to all training rules established by the coach(s) for figure skating.
-Attendance is required at all meetings and CFSC club lessons (with Primary or Secondary coach) - unless excused by the coach(s).
**A club lesson is considered a designated practice for upcoming High School Competitions - unless excused by the coach(s).
-The athlete must maintain her own equipment and keep shared spaces (locker rooms, etc.) orderly to the satisfaction of the coach(s)
and/or Association.
-In the event of injury or other legitimate extenuating circumstance, letter winners will be made on the recommendation of the coach(s)
and the CFSC Board.
-Certificates will be given to all team members who participated for the full season and not met varsity requirements as determined by
the coach(s).
-Athlete must maintain eligibility the entire season as a academically and as a CFSC member.
-Athletes must participate as a Varsity participant in at least one High School Competition in the Wisconsin series.
-Any senior who has not met the award requirements, but has been a member in good standing for two or more years.
-The coach(s) may recommend awards in special cases to athletes who have not met the requirements.

General Team Information
-Attendance is required at all meetings and CFSC club lessons (with Primary or Secondary coach) - unless excused by the coach(s).
**A club lesson is considered a designated practice for upcoming High School Competitions.
-Athletes will put in a request for at least one competition that they are available to compete at. Seniority will be given to High School
Seniors and then by availability to compete, followed by test level.
- Coach(s) will determine which Team Level (B or C) skaters will compete in and the skills each will perform.
-Any additional ‘Team Practices’ will be determined by the coach(s) and must be approved by the CFSC board.
