Literature (American Author) Criticism – A Research Process http://qvhslibrary.wikispaces.com/home Literature Criticism Critics present us with works that have multiple meanings, expecting us to consider the works thoughtfully and to interpret their meaning in our own way. Writers, scholars and critics of authors build on each other’s understanding of the works of literature, in a kind of dialogue and present their work for analysis. An authors body of scholarly research and criticism should be extensive. Scholars and critics evaluate and debate not only the body of work, also the ideas and philosophies of fellow critics.
