December/January Spelling Menu
Directions: Every week students will be required to complete 2
assignments from the spelling menu with their spelling words.
Each assignment should have the spelling unit number and
assignment name in the title. Both assignments will be due on
Thursday of each week.
Picture Words
Poem
Draw a picture and write your
spelling words in the picture.
Write a poem using at least 8 of
your spelling words.
Cheer
Parts of Speech
Come up with a cheer using at
least 8 of your spelling words. You
may just turn in the cheer, or turn
it in and perform it for the class!
Classify your words by parts of
speech (ex. noun, verb, adjective,
adverb, etc.) by writing the words
and the part of speech next to the
word.
Rainbow Words
Technology
Write your spelling words 3X each Type each spelling word into a
