ATA Website Project In producing the ATA website, it is intended to work nearly identical to the IMI website. The domain for these pages must be http://ata.theimi.org.uk Content must be managed from the same CMS location (adding ATA as a new website within the CMS folder structure) Users must be able to login to any site if they register on ATA, IMI, MIM Jobs Content must be shared across the websites from CMS – e.g. featured books, Go To links, etc Unless mentioned each page must be able to add Right Hand Side content – the same as IMI pages Homepage www.theimi.org.uk//test/docs/ATA-designs/ata.jpg All items in this page are very nearly identical to The IMI website. We need all content types recreated in the CMS as ATA content types. E.g.for the ‘Corporate Highlight’ content type, we will need ‘ATA Corporate Highlight’. Apart from recreating these content types for ATA – there are no new requirements from this page ATA Corporate Highlights o Functionality is identical to Corporate Highlights on IMI website ATA Small home Highlights o Identical functionality to Small Home Highlights content type on IMI website ATA news o This is to be collected from a new content type ‘Latest ATA news’ Latest Block o This is just a block that we will manually populate in the CMS ATA Video o We need to be able to add ATA videos in the same way we add IMI video Section pages (Panel pages) We have not yet designed section pages – we require these to work in identical way to IMI website. We require four panel pages: Technicians Training Providers Consumer About Most pages then produced for the website will be a child of one of these sections. Searches We required two types of search (and IMI website search). These searches will require data to be exported from the IMI – this can either be made visible in a data base or exported as a CSV file. ATA Technician Search http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/technician-search.jpg The ATA technician search is required to allow the website user to search for individuals who are in IMI database. The database can be made visible (as MS SQL or sent as a CSV file) and is made up of two tables. The records in each table are tied together by a unique ‘Technician number’ An Expiry date is included for each technician is data – results must only show if technician expiry date has not passed Search results look like the following: http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/technician-searchresults.jpg Garage employing ATA staff search Search - http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/employer-search.jpg Results - http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/employer-searchresults.jpg This search will work very similarly to the technician search, however the results will be more detailed. The data for this search can be made available as access to MS SQL database or via CSV file. User must be able to choose specialism (will be provided in data for this search) User must be able to search by Post Code Search and Results must be integrated with Google Maps Search must only show results within 30 miles (if user searches post code) Google map must be used to plot results on a map A link to ‘directions’ must be included (opening Google Maps in a new window with search term as ‘Start Point’ and destination as ‘Post Code’ from result returned User should be able to sort results by o Nearest first o Furthest away o Alphabetical ascending o Alphabetical descending ATA Online Store http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/shop-home.jpg An online store is required for ATA – We would also like the exact same set up on www.theimi.org.uk website. Products purchased must be integrated with SagePay to allow payments to be made online. Only users who have registered on the website as an ATA Employer (described later) must be able to complete purchases (very important!) The online store must display all products that have been added to the store via the CMS. User must be able to sort the items by Title: Ascending Title: Descending Price: Ascending Price: Descending It is expected that there will be no more than 12 items displayed. Only items added as ‘ATA product’. ATA Product http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/shop-product.jpg CMS user must be able to add new products to the ATA store. The fields required for this are: Title Blue Bar Title Small Text Body Text In Stock (a checkbox) Go to / See also Documents Right Hand Side Content Base Price VAT Image thumbnail Large Image Category (ATA, IMI, etc) For this content type we require the small image (thumbnail) to be displayed on the product page. When the user clicks this the image will zoom in to the large version provided. Please add the Base Price and VAT value together to display ‘Price’ on product page For Documents, we need to ensure that PDF’s listed on these pages can only be downloaded if user is logged in as an ‘ATA Employer’ – We might need to add ‘Secure documents’ as a new content type? ATA General pages http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/ata-generic-page.jpg We need general content pages created, we will need the following ‘General’ page types: Technicians page Training Providers page Consumer page About page These pages should be like IMI pages (agenda, membership, etc) ATA ‘Latest ATA News’ page http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/ata-generic-page.jpg We require the CMS to produce ATA news articles. These should operate the same way as IMI news and look the same as a generic ATA page ATA Competitions http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/ata-competition.jpg The CMS will need a new content type called ‘Competition. This content type will need to allow the CMS user to build a competition. The following fields will be required: Title Closing date Competition Question Possible answers (user must be able to ‘Add more’ via CMS) A link to a terms and conditions page (CMS user must be able to choose page to link to) Submit answer – Only logged in users must be able to submit their answer. Users must only be able to enter the competition once. Competition answers must be visible in the CMS ATA Routes and Modules Route - http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/ata-route.jpg Module - http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/ata-module.jpg This is a new content type for the CMS. It is not like anything we currently have. ATA Routes and Modules are qualification types. A Module is the child of a Route, however the Module may be a child of many Routes. I would like the following to happen in the CMS. Creating ATA Module content type http://www.theimi.org.uk/test/docs/ATA-designs/ata-module.jpg Title Blue Bar title Small Text Body text Levels (Allow CMS user to add line of text then choose ‘Add more’ to insert another line) – This should be displayed under title ‘ATA level: Module ID, this is just a number CMS user will enter e.g. 002, this will appear after ‘ID: AOM’ in the page template. Option to add Go to/ See also, Documents, Right Hand Side Content Etc The page design for an ATA module also includes some dynamic items. Under ‘This module features in: ATA route: the website must dynamically display all the routes that this Module has been attached too. (The module must be attached when user creates the ‘Route page’. Creating ATA Route content type I need to put more detail in to the design and CMS spec – I will design the CMS page for this content type. I need to update the design for this. There are 15 ATA Routes that we need to create, but we need to be able to add more through the CMS. An ATA Route is made up of ATA Modules, and must display the Modules which make up the ATA Route (As links in the Go To area). We will require the following from the CMS: Title Blue Bar title Small Text Body Text All Right Hand column options Option to select Modules which form this ATA Route Go To links pre populated based on Modules Selected Option to Select ‘Pre Requisite’ Modules which the user must have completed before taking this ATA Route CMS User must be able to build ‘Accreditation levels for each ATA route’ and choose the modules which are required for this level. This process will exist twice for ‘Full ATA Assessment’ and ATA Reaccreditation’ ATA Website registration These pages have not been designed but will be very similar to the IMI website registration The user will be presented with three choices Are you registering as.. A - I am an ATA Technician B - I employ ATA technicians C - I would like to know more about ATA For each choice the user will be required to give certain information: A – User qill be required to give ATA Technician number, post code and date of Birth (exactly the same process as IMI member registration) B – User will be asked to give Surname and ATA number of technician – There is no check needed on this process – BUT ATA Employer accounts will need to be approved at the IMI – not by email verification C – User will complete normal website registration For user B we will require to show information from data that will be imported to individual in My IMI – there are very few additions to My IMI required.
